The Annapurna Sanctuary area, scared to the local inhabitants and treasured as a spiritual refuge, long before the first trekkers appeared is a natural amphitheater, ringed by Annapurna south and I, Varashikhar, Gangapurna and Macchapucchare. It serves as base camp for expeditions as well as a favorite destination

Starting from Pokhara you climb to Naudanda (nine hills) and gain elevation gradually through Ghandug and Chomrong. Then follow the Modi Khola valley through thick bamboo and rhododendron forests to the Annapurna base camp at 4130m a slightly different return route through Landruck, Dhampus and Hyangja's Tibetan refugee camp revel to you a mix of cultures quite possibly unparalleled on any other trek.

The region Falls with in the Annapurna conservation area a project for environmental and cultural protection accommodating both native and visitor needs.

Day 6: Doban to ABC (Annapurna base camp)
Day 7: ABC to Doban
Day 8: Doban to Chomrong
Day 9: Chomrong to Ghandrung
Day 10: Ghandrung to Nayapool and drive to Pokhara Trek end at Pokhara
